Accessing Q Properties

- Open DigiRIP.
- Access Q Properties using one of the following methods: Double-click the queue tab you want to modify, or
- Select the queue tab, then click Q in the top menu and select Properties.
Navigating to ICC Profile Settings

- In the Q Properties dialog, select Color Layer.
- Click ICC Profile.
- Review the current input profile settings.
Understanding Default Input Profiles

- Note that the input profile is set to Custom.
- Confirm the default behavior: RGB images use sRGB.
- CMYK images use ISO Coated.
Changing the CMYK Input Profile

- Click the CMYK input profile drop-down menu.
- Select sRGB + CADlink Wide to change how CMYK images are interpreted.
- Use this option if printed colors are not accurate or desirable.
Changing Both RGB and CMYK Input Profiles

- Click the main input profile drop-down menu.
- Select CADlink RGB + CADlink Wide.
- Understand that: sRGB is the standard color gamut.
- Use expanded gamut profiles to help achieve specific color targets.
- CADlink RGB and CADlink Wide provide an expanded color gamut.
Applying the New Input Profile

- Click OK to save the changes.
- Import a new job into the queue.
- If a job already exists in the reserve area: Remove the existing job.
- Reimport the job to apply the new input profile.
