Preparing the Job in the Queue

- Import the job into the color queue for the DTG printer.
- Right-click the job in the queue.
- Select Effects.
- Click Distressed.
Distressed Plugin – Basic Mode Setup

- Confirm the Distressed plugin dialog opens with a default preview.
- Adjust the zoom level below the preview to 20%.
- Verify the dialog is set to Basic mode.
- Review the four main sliders: Image desaturation
- Define tint colors as needed.
- Choose a preset mask.
- Adjust threshold, scale, and rotation for the generated mask.
- Use the buttons at the bottom to Save, Load, Reset, or choose a Preset.

What you need
- Job returns to the queue with the distressed effect applied
- Custom textures can be created and saved as presets
- Click the Presets button.
- Select Old Poster.
- Reduce the Tint Color strength to 10 to avoid excessive color shifting.
- Adjust other settings as desired.
- Optionally switch to Advanced mode to access additional fine-tuning controls.
- Click OK to apply the effect.
Adding a Torn Edge Effect with Distressed Frames

- Select Effects.
- Click Distressed Frames.
- Adjust available settings to achieve the desired torn edge look.

Using the Knock Me Color Out Plugin

- Click Knock Me Color Out.

- Set the zoom level to 25%.

- Review how the shirt color shows through the design.
Adjusting Underbase Removal
