- Double-click the image to open its settings.
- Go to **Color Layer**.
- Select **Processing Options**.
- Any changes made here apply **only to this image**.
Adjusting White Under Black
- Locate **White Under Black**.
- Default value is typically **50%**.
- This setting controls how much white ink is placed beneath black areas: Lower values = less white under black
- Use the drop-down menu to adjust between **0% and 100%**.
- Higher values = more white under black
- Locate the **Choke** setting.
- Choke controls how much white ink spreads beyond the image edge.
- Behavior: Lower values = wider white ink (may cause white peeking)
- Small details such as neck label text may require careful fine-tuning.
- Higher values = tighter white ink (may remove white from small text)
- Locate **Maximum Ink Percentage**.
- Default value is typically **60%**.
- Adjust in **10% increments only**.
- Example: Change from 60% to 70%.
- Click **OK** to save.
- This adjustment applies **only to the selected image**.
- Double-click **Q Properties** at the top.
- Go to **Color Layer**.
- Select **Processing Options**.
- Adjust **Maximum Ink Percentage** as needed.
- Click **OK** to save.
- Any new image imported will automatically use this setting.
Verifying Image-Specific Settings
- Double-click an existing image.
- Go to **Color Layer > Processing Options**.
- Confirm the white ink percentage reflects the updated value.
- Highlight White is available only on: **DigiRIP**
- Use this method if: You are experiencing color bleeding
- **Digital Factory version 11 or higher**
- White ink output is too strong overall
Changing Highlight White Strength
- Double-click **Q Properties**.
- Go to **Color Layer**.
- Select **Processing Options**.
- Choose **Under Base and Highlight**.
- A new slider window will appear.
- Adjust **Highlight White Strength**: Default: **100%**
- Start at **50%**
- Adjust up or down in **10% increments**
- Increasing the value strengthens white output.
- Excessive values may cause bleeding.
- Fine-tuning is required based on print results.
- Highlight White can also be adjusted per image.
