This guide explains how to reset the NeoStampa public folder. This process is recommended if: ⚠️ Note: This reset will remove: Step 1: Close Software & End Background Processes
The NeoStampa server is not functioning correctly (e.g., cost calculation issues). You need to reinstall NeoStampa and reset all settings to default. Material cost settings Custom print modes User-created configurations
Fully close the NeoStampa software.
Press **Ctrl + Shift + Esc**.
In the search bar, type **non**. Right-click **NonSucking Service Manager**. Select **End Task** for all instances.
Search **Java**. Right-click each Java process. Select **End Task**.
Search **Control**. Locate **Control Center**. Right-click and **End Task**. Step 2: Add Windows Security Exclusions
Open the **Start Menu**. Search **Security**. Open **Windows Security**.
Go to **Virus & Threat Protection**. Click **Manage Settings**. Scroll to **Exclusions**. Click **Add or Remove Exclusions**. Click **Yes** when prompted.
Add the following folders one by one: Steps for each:
Click **Add an Exclusion**. Select **Folder**. Browse to the folder. Click **Select Folder**. Step 3: Reset NeoStampa Public Folder
**C:\inetpub** **C:\Program Files\init** **C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\NeoStampa 10**
Open **File Explorer**. Navigate to: **C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\NeoStampa 10**
Locate the required file inside **NeoStampa 10**. Drag this file into: **C:\Users\Public\Public Documents**
Right-click **NeoStampa 10**. Select **Rename**. Add **.bak** to the end of the name. Press **Enter**. Step 4: Rebuild NeoStampa Folder
Example: `NeoStampa 10.bak`
Open **NeoStampa**. Click **Yes** when prompted. A new **NeoStampa 10** folder will be created automatically.
Immediately drag the file you moved earlier back into the new: **NeoStampa 10** folder. If the Software Opens Too Quickly
If NeoStampa opens before the file is restored:
Close NeoStampa. Move the file into the new **NeoStampa 10** folder. Select **Replace the file in the destination**. When prompted, click **Retry**. Click **OK**. Final Result
NeoStampa public folder reset is now complete.
NeoStampa should now open normally. Server-related issues and corrupted settings should be resolved. Software is reset to default behavior.
